Our services cover the whole scope of accessibility. We carry out audits, studies, municipal accessibility plans and projects, that are mainly specialized in the public domain.
We thoroughly audit buildings of public use, transport infrastructures and urban spaces, detailing the compliance or non-compliance in each case with each of the requirements of the application regulations.
Auditing buildings and infrastructures allows to know the degree of adaptation to the current legislation, and to verify any non-compliance.
In addition to the use of studies to help prepare audits, studies also aid in both, preparing a proposal for corrective measures on detected non-compliances, as well as in calculating an estimate of costs. Additionally, we also make a plan of action stages as they are requested. The studies are of particular interest for those buildings that are publicly owned and are not municipal owned and therefore are not included in the Municipal Accessibility Plans (eg institutes, universities, health centers, hospitals, geriatrics, offices, Museums, leisure centers, etc).
The study allows knowing the specific actions that must be carried out to achieve compliance with current legislations, and provides the information necessary to program economic and temporary interventions.
MUNICIPAL ACCESSIBILITY PLANS
Municipal Accessibility Plans consist of an analysis of the physical and social environment of the municipality, an accessibility evaluation of public buildings, roads and public spaces and transportation, a plan of actions providing possible generic solutions for the removal of barriers detected, a budget assessment of these actions, and a prioritization of actions by itineraries and sectors, and its corresponding plan of stages for the programming of the actions to be undertaken.
The City Council can decide on its global wording, or in stages, making the first stage the routes, zones and buildings that the City Council considers to be priorities. By creating separate stages, high, medium and low priority areas are established. It can also be decided by use, independently creating an Accessibility Plan for public buildings, an Accessibility Plan for the urban space, and an Accessibility Plan for transportation. The elaboration of Municipal Accessibility Plans can also be based on its use, independently creating a Plan of Accessibility for public buildings, a Plan of Accessibility for urban spaces, and a Plan of Accessibility for transportation.
Through specific construction projects, we come to develop the necessary actions to adapt a building or public space determined to fulfill and conform to the regulations. Projects consist of reports, work plans, budget and specifications. Additionally, we also direct the construction management.
